There are a variety of services available for Indigenous students at McMaster. Our welcoming and friendly staff can support you throughout your time at McMaster.

The Indigenous Student Success Advisor provides ongoing assistance and support on a professional and experiential basis. This includes academic, practical and culturally appropriate advising to incoming and current students.
All prospective and current First Nations, Métis and Inuit applicants are encouraged to contact the Indigenous Student Services Office.
The Indigenous Studies Department offers Writing Skills workshops twice annually, at the Six Nations Polytechnic and McMaster. If you need assistance with research or writing a paper, we are here to help.
Hundreds of titles in the areas of Indigenous knowledge, research and language area are available in the library. We also offer DVDs, language CDs, etc. for student borrowing.
The Indigenous Studies Office in L.R. Wilson Hall has a student space for studying, meetings or just taking a break. The room is equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD player, computers, printer and Wi-Fi.
A McMaster librarian from one of the libraries, offers Indigenous Studies students research-related assistance for two hours every week.
Every Tuesday, the Indigenous Studies Office provides delicious free soup for students. Stop by during the afternoon to grab some soup and to meet staff and students.
